Designs and Lettering

Carvings come in an array of styles, sizes and depths. Each carving is unique to the stone it is chosen for, and will enhance the design.

Etchings are used on designs that require a lot of fine detail, such as replicating a photo. They must be done on black, deep red, or dark mahogonay granite.

Panels can be simple or intricate. They can add detail to the monument design and provide a background on which lettering will stand out. 

Lettering styles can depend on the stone, style and type of monument you choose. Sometimes, multiple lettering styles will be used on one monument.
